How We Craft Our Cosplay Tails
See how our custom cosplay tails are shaped, colored and built — from natural fox and wolf tails to kitsune, fantasy and character-inspired designs.
Every cosplay tail starts with a silhouette. You can choose one of our existing tail patterns and customize the colors or details, or contact us about developing a completely new pattern for your character.
Use the finished examples below to find a shape, color combination or construction style you like. When you find something close to your character, send us the product link or reference and tell us what you would like to change.

Make the Pattern Match Your Character
Found a tail with the right shape but need different colors? Many of our existing cosplay tail patterns can be adapted with custom fur colors, contrasting tips, stripes and character-inspired color layouts.
The easiest way to start is to send us the product link of the tail shape you like together with your character image or color reference.
If the existing silhouette already works, we can focus on changing the visual details instead of developing an entirely new tail pattern.

Built Around the Silhouette
Color is only one part of a cosplay tail. Length, curvature, width, volume and the shape of the tip all influence the final character silhouette when the tail is worn.
We maintain a growing library of existing patterns for fox, wolf, cat, bunny, kitsune and fantasy tail styles.
If one of our existing patterns already matches your character, it can be used as the starting point for custom colors, markings or other available adjustments.
Choose an existing silhouette and customize available details such as colors, markings or proportions.
Recommended when your character requires a significantly different silhouette, shape or structure.
Production time is followed by approximately 8–15 days of worldwide shipping.

CRAFT DETAIL
What’s Under the Fur Matters
The outside of the tail creates the character, but the finishing around the attachment area matters too. The base needs to maintain the silhouette while providing a defined area for the attachment construction.

Finished Tail Base
This close-up shows a finished attachment area on one of our previous cosplay tail builds.
The attachment area is separated from the surrounding faux fur so the base can remain structured while the visible fur keeps its full silhouette.
Attachment construction may vary depending on the tail’s size, weight, shape and intended use.
