HOW IT WORKS
From Character Reference to Finished Cosplay Tail
Start with an existing tail you like, tell us what you want to change, and we’ll help determine whether your cosplay can use one of our current patterns or needs a completely new tail design.
STEP 01
Find the Closest Tail Style
You do not need to design your custom cosplay tail from scratch. Start by browsing our existing collection and find the shape, length, curve or overall silhouette closest to your character.
You can browse Fox Tails, Wolf Tails, Cat Tails, Bunny Tails, Tiger Tails, or Kitsune & Nine Tails.

STEP 02
Send Us the Product Link
Once you find a tail with the right general shape, copy the product link and send it to us.
This gives us a clear starting point and makes it easier to understand which pattern, proportions and construction style you prefer.

STEP 03
Send Your Character or Color Reference
If your tail needs to match a specific character, send a clear reference image showing the tail whenever possible.
Helpful references can include:
- Character artwork
- Game screenshots
- Anime screenshots
- Cosplay references
- Color palettes
- Drawings or sketches
- Photos showing the shape or markings you want
Back and side views are especially useful when the character has a distinctive tail shape or color placement.
STEP 04
Tell Us What You Want to Change
Depending on the design, customization may include:
- Fur color
- Tail length
- Overall size or volume
- Tail-tip color
- Stripes or markings
- Color gradients
- Character-inspired proportions
- Single-tail or multi-tail configurations
If the standard product already matches what you need, you can simply order the existing option without requesting customization.
STEP 05
Existing Pattern or New Pattern?
After reviewing your product link and character reference, we will determine whether your design can use one of our existing patterns or requires a new pattern.
Best when the existing shape already matches your character and only details such as color, markings or proportions need adjustment.
Recommended when the requested tail requires a significantly different silhouette, structure, curve or character-specific design.
STEP 06
We Confirm the Details Before Production
Before production begins, please review the confirmed details carefully.
Depending on the order, this may include:
- Selected base pattern
- Fur colors
- Tail length
- Markings or color placement
- Number of tails
- Custom proportions
- Any special construction requirements discussed with us
Once custom production or new pattern development has started, major changes may no longer be possible.
STEP 07
Your Tail Goes Into Production
Once the design details are confirmed, we begin preparing the materials, pattern and construction for your cosplay tail.

STEP 08
Worldwide Shipping
After production is complete, worldwide shipping typically takes approximately 8–15 days.
Production time and shipping time are separate, so please consider both when planning for a convention, Halloween, photoshoot or other fixed event date.
